Yesterday was a big day for the UB Rowing Club. We traveled and raced at our first regatta since October of 2019. It has been a long time for sure. Our team is young in terms of experience so we look forward to taking more strokes and gaining that physical and mental strength we need to go faster. Racing at the Head of the Genesee yesterday was a good gauge as to how we stack up against our competition. We are definitely rusty but we saw some good things in all of our boats and are excited to get back on the water throughout this week and improve each day. The novices will have their first race next weekend here in Buffalo. Sunday we race at the Head of the Niagara.
