I started rowing because I saw flyers up and had family members tell me in the past that it would be great to try. The team is great, and I’ve never been happier.
My favorite memory is when I did my first erg race alongside my teammates. There was a lot of encouragement from everyone during the race.
I have learned that there is no such thing as a perfect stroke, just as there is no such thing as a perfect human. We all have to face different obstacles and come up with or learn new ways to overcome them.
My favorite thing about rowing is the team and how peaceful it is to see the sun rise while all working together towards a goal.
